Atlantic County offices will be closed on Monday, January 26 due to inclement weather. Closures include senior centers, county library branches, the Atlantic County Animal Shelter, the Central Municipal Court of Atlantic County, the Veterans Cemetery Office and Park offices.
Residents who participate in Meals on Wheels received provisions for Monday. Service will resume on Tuesday.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid travel so Public Works crews can safely clear roadways. Major roadways will be cleared first. If you must travel, please exercise caution and leave plenty of room behind snowplows and road crews. As per state law, motorists must remove snow from their vehicles before they travel.
A State of Emergency remains in effect throughout New Jersey with commercial vehicle restrictions and 35-mph speed limits on state highways and interstates.
