Notice of Pending Bond Ordinance Number 2-2026 and Summary
The bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey, on April 21, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners to be held at the County Complex, Stillwater Building, 201 South Shore Road, Northfield, in said County, on May 5, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners for the members of the general public who shall request the same. Bond Ordinance providing for various capital improvements for fiscal year 2026 by and for the Atlantic Cape Community College; appropriating $5,830,000 therefor and authorizing the issuance of $5,830,000 bonds or notes of the County Of Atlantic, State Of New Jersey, for financing such appropriation, the principal of and interest on the aggregate principal amount of which will be entitled to state aid, pursuant to Chapter 12 of The Laws Of New Jersey Of 1971

Purpose(s):
|
Various 2026 capital improvements to Atlantic Cape Community College (Mays Landing, Atlantic City And Cape May Campuses) including, but not limited to, (i) various improvements to the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus including, but not limited to, building façade improvements, replacement of HVACs, elevator improvements/replacements, and creation of academic spaces and/or renovation of existing classrooms, bathroom facilities and conference space and student support space; (ii) various improvements to the Mays Landing Campus including, but not limited to, water transition improvements (well to municipal), elevator and HVAC improvements/replacements and renovations to gymnasium; (iii) various improvements to the Cape May Campus including, but not limited to, improvements to HVAC Systems and lobby areas and renovation of existing classrooms and student support space; and (iv) any other capital project that is deemed necessary by the county and the College that is eligible for State of New Jersey funds pursuant to Chapter 12 of the Laws of New Jersey of 1971
