Beginning Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 1, a detour will be in effect on Rt. 559 (Somers Point-Mays Landing Road) at Ocean Heights Avenue on the north end and Zion Road on the south end for drainage work.
On Monday, April 27, the detour is scheduled to be in effect 8 am – 6 pm. On Tuesday, April 28 through Friday, May 1, the detour will be in effect 7 am – 5 pm.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Access for emergency service vehicles and school transportation will be maintained.
