Atlantic County Ordinance No. 3-2026
An Ordinance amending the Bylaws of the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners to provide for early public comment on agenda items not scheduled for public hearings, adjusting notice requirements and other procedural updates.
An Ordinance entitled as above was introduced by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Atlantic on the 19th day of May 2026 for the first reading. This Ordinance amending the Bylaws of the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners to provide for early public comment on agenda items not scheduled for public hearings, adjusting notice requirements and other procedural updates.
The ordinance will be considered on second reading with public comment on June 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The ordinance shall take effect 20 days after final passage. A copy of the ordinance can be obtained without cost from the office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, Stillwater Building, 201 Shore Road, Northfield, NJ, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
