Atlantic County 2025 Local Arts Program Recipients

Twenty-six non-profits were re-granted a total of $206,000 through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. 

Art C South Jersey, Inc.: Support for the production of a documentary about Ralph Hunter and the African American Heritage Museum of South Jersey.

Atlantic City Arts Foundation: Support for staff, artists and public arts programs in Atlantic City.

Atlantic City Ballet: Support for fully-staged prime artistic dance performances.

Atlantic Pops Community Band: Support for its inter-generational concert performances and educational program.

Borough of Buena: Support for its 2025 Arts in the Park activities.

Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation: Support for music education and its Jazz Concert series.

Concerts on the Beach at Somers Point: Support for its summer concert series.

Cygnus Creative Arts Centre, Inc.: Support for its Young At Heart and Adaptive Dance & Movement programs.

Eagle Theatre, Inc.: Support for its theatrical productions and education programs.

Fool Moon Theatre: Support for its theatrical productions.

Hammonton Arts Center: Support for artistic programming.

Hammonton Revitalization Corporation: Support for artistic programming during township events throughout the year.

Historic Organ Restoration Committee: Support for performances and tours of the historic organ in Atlantic City.

Jewish Community Center of Atlantic County: Support for its 3rd Annual Jewish Film Festival.

Latin Music Fest of the Atlantic County Puerto Rican Parade: Support for artistic elements within the Atlantic County Puerto Rican Parade.

Mays Landing-Egg Harbor City Rotary Foundation: Support for artistic elements (marching bands) during two separate Halloween Parades.

Mighty Writers: Support for interdisciplinary literary art programming for underserved BIPOC children in Atlantic City.

MudGirls Studios: Support in its mission to provide opportunities in art and entrepreneurship to economically disadvantaged and at-risk women.

Somers Point Arts Commission: Support for arts programming throughout the year.

South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble: Support for concerts and educational opportunities throughout the year.

South Jersey Indian Association: Support for its 16th Annual India Day Parade and Mela in Atlantic City.

South Jersey Jazz Society: Support for its 3- to 4-day Jazz @ the Point Festival.

South Jersey Players, Inc.: Support for theatrical productions, arts camp and youth playwright workshops.

SPQR Stage Company: Support for theatrical productions throughout the year.

Stockton University – Murphy Writing: Support for the expansion of two free monthly creative writing programs.

Theater Collaborative of South Jersey d/b/a Gateway Playhouse: Support for its theatrical programs and summer educational program.

Four non-profits were re-granted a total of $15,595 through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. 

 Art C of South Jersey, Inc.: Support for the production of a documentary about Chicken Bone Beach and the Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation.

Greate Egg Harbor Township Historical Society: Support for the purchase of a robust scanner/printer to enhance exhibits.

Historical Society of Hammonton: Support for historical programming throughout the year.

Liberty and Prosperity, 1776, Inc.: Support for the production of a local history educational booklet for students.
