Atlantic County 2026 Local Arts Program Recipients

Twenty-seven non-profits were re-granted a total of $206,000 through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. 

Art C South Jersey Inc: Support for the production of a documentary about Galloway artist/sand sculpturist John Gowdy.

Atlantic City Arts Foundation: Support for staff, artists and arts programs in Atlantic City.

Atlantic City Ballet: Support for the salaries of professional dancers.

Atlantic City Theatre Company: Support artists, technicians, and marketing campaigns.

Atlantic Pops Community Band: Support for the production of concerts and educational programs.

Atlantic Youth Orchestra: Support for musical training and performances.

Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation Inc.: Support for arts programming and concerts.

Cygnus Creative Arts Centre, Inc.: Support for visual art and dance programs.

Fool Moon Theatre: Support for theatrical programming.

Hammonton Arts Center: Support for arts programming.

Hammonton Revitalization Corporation: Support for an Art Program Coordinator and arts programming.

Harvest Minds Project CDC & Partners: Support for arts components during the Juneteenth event.

Historic Organ Restoration Committee, Inc.: Support for arts programming and performances.

Latin Music Fest of the Atlantic County Puerto Rican Parade: Support for arts components during the Latin Music Festival.

Midtown Atlantic City Development Corp: Support for educational arts programming.

Mighty Writers: Support for after-school literary programs.

MudGirls Studios: Support to provide art and entrepreneurship opportunities to women at-risk.

Rutgers University, Department of American Studies: Program support surrounding the Monuments Project while installed in Atlantic City.

Somers Point Arts Commission: Support for multi-disciplinary arts programming.

South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble: Support for concerts and educational opportunities.

South Jersey Indian Association: Support for arts components during the annual India Day Parade and Mela.

South Jersey Jazz Society: Support for the annual Jazz @ the Point Festival.

South Jersey Players, Inc.: Support for theatrical productions, arts camp and playwriting workshops.

SPQR Stage Company: Support for theatrical productions.

Stockton University-Murphy Writing: Support for monthly creative writing programs.

Theater Collaborative of South Jersey d/b/a Gateway Playhouse: Support for theatrical productions and summer educational programs.

Tony Mart Cares Inc.: Support for the summer concert series in Somers Point.

 

Atlantic County 2026 County History Partnership Program Recipients

Six non-profits were re-granted a total of $23,203 through the New Jersey Historical Commission. 

Galloway Township Historical Society: Support for the production of a 300-page illustrated history book.

Greate Egg Harbour Township Historical Society: Support for the purchase of archival preservation and display materials.

Historical Society of Hammonton: Support for archival supplies, oral history transcriptions, collections management and marketing.

Midtown Atlantic City Development Corp: Support for historic presentations for the Kentucky Avenue Revitalization Project.

Port Republic Heritage Society: Support for programming and general operations.

Ventnor City Historical Society: Support for the purchase of archival materials to protect and preserve collections.
