Aging and Disabilities Resource Connection (ADRC)

ADRC
Provides outreach (home visits), case management (application assistance & referrals), screening for services, assessments, counseling, and education.
Adult Protective Services (APS)
Investigates reports of possible abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults 18 years of age and older.
Caregiver Assistance
Adult Social Day Care, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, Statewide Respite Program, Caregiver In-Home Respite, Jersey Assistance for Community Caregivers (JACC).
Disability Services
Advocacy, advisory, and referral, for services to advance independent living.
Home-Delivered Meals
Available to homebound seniors 60 years of age and older who are frail and unable to prepare meals and have limited support.
Medicaid Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS)
Provides comprehensive services and supports for eligible individuals who require nursing home level of care, whether in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or at home in the community.
Mental Health Administrator
Serves as liaison between the Mental Health Advisory Board, County Government and the NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Provides staff support to the Mental Health Advisory Board.
Nutrition
Senior centers located throughout Atlantic County serve a noontime nutritious meal and offer recreational and educational activities to residents 60 years of age and older.
Personal Assistance Services Program (PASP)
Provides non-medical assistance to adults with disabilities over the age of 18 who are employed, involved in volunteer work, or attending school.
Senior Services
Residential maintenance, legal services, physical health, adult day care, telephone reassurance, education, and socialization.
State Health Insurance Program (SHIP)
Provides health insurance counseling and enrollment assistance to Medicare recipients.
Transportation
