Civilian Membership Plans
Membership is required to utilize the county range facility.
To become a member you must FIRST take our Safety Course.
For Handguns, registrer for FAST Class.
For Rifle, registrer for FSR.
We offer several levels of membership for Atlantic County residents and non-residents alike. You can choose a membership plan that best suits your shooting habits.
Plans and Fees
Atlantic County Resident
- Individual Resident Shooter: $30.00 Annual Membership with $10.00 daily range fee.
- Unlimited Resident Shooter: $200.00 Annual Membership with no daily range fee.
- Resident Family Plan: $90.00 Annual Membership with $10.00 per shooter range fee.
- Unlimited Resident Family Plan: $350.00 Annual Membership with no daily range fees.
Non-Resident
- Individual Non-Resident Shooter: $40.00 Annual Membership with $20.00 daily range fee.
- Unlimited Non-Resident Shooter: $300.00 Annual Membership with NO daily range fee.
- Non-Resident Family Plan: $120.00 Annual Membership with $20.00 per shooter range fee.

Memberships
Various Memberships are available to individuals and families who have successfully completed our F.A.S.T. or F.S.R. safety class and are not prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm.
The Facility offers Resident Memberships at a discounted rate. Resident memberships are available to residents of Atlantic County and to those who own property in the county. Proof of residency or proof of property ownership is required at the time of application.
All individuals seeking membership at the Firearms Training Facility must not be prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm in the State of New Jersey and will be required to complete a certification.
All other individuals and families who are not prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm are eligible for Non-Resident membership plans.
Although the facility does not require the possession of a New Jersey Firearms ID Card for membership, membership is restricted to those individuals who do not fall subject to any of the exclusionary provisions that would make the possession of a firearm illegal in the State of New Jersey. Should an Active member suddenly fall subject to any of those exclusionary provisions, his/her membership shall be suspended until such time that the member is once more legally permitted to possess a firearm.

A Family plan is limited to the adult parents or guardians and any minor children at least ten years of age and who reside with the adult member(s) or for whom the adult member has a financial responsibility.
The Facility does not rent or loan firearms nor do we sell or make ammunition available to our members.
All members must provide their own firearms and ammunition. You must be a member in good standing to use the facility.
Training
Regardless of Membership level, all persons utilizing the facility must successfully complete the F.A.S.T. or F.S.R. Class and orientation provided by the range facility or its equivalent as determined by the Range Manager.
Age Restrictions
Some age restrictions apply for range membership.
Individuals who have attained at least ten years of age may be granted membership for the purposes of rifle and/or shotgun shooting and will be restricted to the use of .22 caliber rimfire or smaller caliber rifles and 20 gauge or smaller gauge shotguns.
Individuals who have attained at least twelve years of age may be granted permission for handgun shooting but will also be restricted to the use of .22 caliber rimfire or smaller handguns.
Caliber restriction shall apply to all shooters under the age of fourteen but may be waived at the discretion of the assigned instructor.
While on the range or handling a firearm for any reason at the Facility, a Youth Member must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
