K-9 Unit
The Atlantic County Sheriff’s Officer K-9 Unit is a valuable asset to Atlantic County and acts as a support unit to surrounding law enforcement agencies. Our K-9 Teams are trained for a particular objective and have extensive training. They attend monthly in-service training and continually train to maintain the highest level of efficiency. Currently, the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office has K-9 Teams for narcotics detection, explosive detection, and human tracking.
