Summer Youth Work Experience Program
Earn money and gain experience!
Applications for 2026 now available.
Due to an exceptionally high volume of submissions, all applications received on or after April 21, 2026, will be placed on a waitlist.
Available to Atlantic County residents ages 16-24.
Employers include government agencies, local businesses and non-profit organizations.
Program Goals
- Provide work experience opportunities and work readiness education.
- Allow youth to experience available careers in our area
- Gain paid work experience
- Assist them in creating a career pathway
The program is 8 weeks, 25 hours per week at $17.00 per hour between June 1 and August 31.
**Income received during this program will not affect cash assistance
Application can be filled out then printed, signed and returned by mail, in person or scanned and emailed to the contact below.

Employers interested in hosting can reach out to Nicholas Boughton extension 4811. You will be required to complete the Employer Packet.
